Celeste Summer

So black is…the new black. Back to black clothing for a little bit of time this year because let's face it, it's any girl's best friend. Matches everything and heck, guarantees your body a little help after the holiday season (which we won't complain about.) After working as a Hostess in a restaurant where black is required, I found myself drawn to it inside and outside work. Eventually it was overflowing throughout my closet. However after a few months, black t-shirt and black jeans got a little redundant and extremely insipid so I opted for a move towards a sports jersey. Took a long shot with the idea, but it sparked a new spirit of altheticism in my attempting to be chic outfit regimen.  The jersey has begun somewhat of a infatuation with this sports tee trend that hit the Spring/Summer 2014 runway, and prior to this buy I had zero idea about.

I have to admit that after throwing this bad boy on this trend basically continued to invite itself into my closet - nothing beats the excuse to incorporate a little bit of tomboy character that I undoubtedly still contain.

After trial and error of figuring out how to not look like I was dribbling a basketball onto the court, I came to find this is a trend that is heightened by texture, and has major potential when pairing it with one of our favorite black staples - a blazer.
