Recently getting that buzz in the AM, afternoon acai bowl or mid day tea tends to be done at my new found favorite coffee joint, Better Buzz. It's made quite a presence in Mission Beach - the garage door windows peering out to Mission Blvd, pops of yellow, and the sea side breeze pouring in provides a refreshing experience for the post morning surf sesh or pit stop before work/school.
There was major hype about this place prior to moving to the beach and finally I made my way in, took a look around immediately realized this where I will be studying from now on. The reclaimed wood tables and brightly colored chairs were minimal , although upon digging into a "Vanilla Buzz" the coffee was far from simple. This space was forty times better than that thing called the library.
Alongside the locally roasted coffee are a number of tea's that I had to basically eenie meenie miney mo over. Something with caffeine, fruity and cold was my criteria and it left the Flowers and Peach Black Loose Leaf Tea in my hand and an afternoon pick me up to kick start my day.
A solid "buzz" and a new replacement for that dreaded library - to you little Mission Beach coffee shop, thank you.
